Last week I had a bit of a mental breakdown and was freaking out about my future and where this business will be in a year or two.
I’ve come to realize that it doesn’t matter. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that I’d be a real fool to waste the opportunities that have been presented to me.
My plan for this year is to just grow this idea as much as I can and sell as many clocks as possible. All the profit that I make, I will save in a separate business bank account and will later use that money to buy equipment and materials. In a perfect world, I would make enough money this year to be able to buy equipment, but I know that wish is a bit far-fetched. But we shall see.
I only built one clock this week out of what I’m hoping is dry wood. I’m just going to wait and see what happens with it to make sure that’s what was causing the other clocks to separate and crack. I’ve had a few ideas for the numbers but will think more about that and let you know next week.
